Overview

XFrame worked with PTL Engineers, Warren and Mahoney Architecture, and Hawkins to deliver XFrame internal partitions across three levels of Callaghan Innovations refit of their library building.

Deployed partitions were a mixture of 2.4m and 3m high panels, adorned with 12mm Autex PET linings (with a grooved face pattern). These linings were clipped over two layers of acoustic backing material to ensure acoustic privacy between rooms.

Panels were mounted to deal with the high seismic requirements of the region – including a deflection head system. Panels were also designed to permit the mounting of AV systems across spaces.

XFrame operated a supply only model for this project – supplying pre-assembled partitions directly to the main contractor for installation.
